Through his work as a producer, DJ, and live performer, Matt Diamind creates dance-floor experiences rooted in connection, positive energy, and a shared love of music. Blending the nostalgic sounds of different eras with the driving rhythms of house, drum & bass, hip-hop, and UKG, his sets move fluidly across genres and generations. Incorporating live vocals and rap, Matt brings an additional layer of human connection to his performances.
As a producer and engineer, Matt has collaborated in the studio with an accomplished roster of artists, including KRS-One, Fatlip, Slimkid3, Slum Village, Civillian, Lazy Syrup Orchestra, Mark Woodyard, Lisa Marie (NADUH), Father Funk, and Eazy Mac, creating original productions with several of these artists. Matt is currently working on a new project with Civillian and is also one half of the DJ duo Electrik Kool-Aid.
An experienced performer, Matt has appeared at festivals including Bass Coast, Shambhala, Rifflandia, Five Acre Shaker, and Celebration of Lights. His international touring experience spans more than 15 countries, where he has opened for influential artists such as Rakim, KRS-One, The Pharcyde, Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan, Slum Village, The Beatnuts, Kool Keith, and Fatlip. Matt has also shared stages with established Vancouver artists including Civillian, Mark Woodyard, Sam Steele and Sivz and opened for international acts Satin Jackets and Walker & Royce.
